A Londoner with roots tracing back to Punjab and Persia, my connection with food has always been a profound source of expression & connection. It serves as a bridge that connects me to my roots through a tapestry of family recipes & my own.

During the wake of Covid & lockdown,

I started getting messages from friends who missed my food, so I put together a ‘soup care package’ with the message ‘send someone a hug in a bowl & a personalised message’

This quickly resonated with individuals across the emirates, evolving into a transformative project as individuals began requested more packages, the word of mouth spread fast and it was the beginnings of the making of a little community.

A passion project emerged, laying down the foundations of my cherished brand, Moreish by K. I feel honoured to have fed lots and lots of people through our supper clubs, activations and cherished collaborations. This made me change the from the day job of being a Strategy Director to something that felt like a natural calling.

My platform has enabled me to illustrate that food is more than just nourishment; it serves as a vessel to encapsulate emotions between people and foster meaningful connections.
